The East African School of Aviation (EASA) is a recognized by the international Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) as an Aviation Security Training Centre (ASTC). EASA is mandated to offer training in aviation security (AVSEC) in East, Central and Southern Africa. Anglophone countries in West Africa have also been using the institution as their preferred training services provider in AVSEC programmes.
