A universal need for all air navigation service (ANS) providers is utmost safety. The greatest solution to this challenge is high quality training in Air Traffic Control (ATC). The East African School of Aviation (EASA) is recognized by international aviation authorities as a centre of excellence in ATC training in the East and Central Africa.

The wide clientele straddled across the African continent attests to this fact. The ATC training Department boasts of alumni from Angola, Rwanda, Somali and all over East Africa. A wide range of courses, from Basic ATC, ATC refresher and Radar Control to specific training such as RVSM, TCAS, Search & Rescue etc is available even on request. EASA will be launching programmes in Aviation English within the last quarter of the year 2007 to help organizations in aviation industry conform to mandatory ICAO requirements.
