The course aims at giving an insight into the mandate of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the structure of the CAA and the basis of charges levied against various organizations that receive services from the CAA. The course is not examinable and participants will be issued with certificates of attendance.

Module 1: History of the Civil Aviation Industry
Module 2: Mandate of the CAA
Module 3: Overview of ATS flight planning
Module 4: Classification of flights and airports
Module 5: Airspace classification and the air route structure
Module 6: Basis of charges and fees by the CAA
Module 7: Aircraft movement data capture and billing
Module 8: Mode of collection of the charges and fees & Penalties to
defaulters.

- Legal Officers
- Air Navigation Services Planning officers
- Air Transport Officers
