The Deputy Director, Aviation Training at the East African School of Aviation, Mr. Julius Nzyoka, presided over the closing ceremony of the Search and Rescue (SAR) Administrators Course at EASA.
The programme brought together participants from Namibia and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, who successfully enhanced their competencies in SAR administration, coordination, and operational planning.
The training strengthened preparedness, inter-agency collaboration, and efficiency in managing search and rescue services which are key pillars in ensuring aviation safety and timely emergency response.
EASA continues to advance regional aviation capacity through specialized training programmes that promote safety, coordination, and operational excellence.
