𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗔 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 (𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞-𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧) 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔

East African School of Aviation Subject Matter Experts Elijah Obong'o and Lawrence Amukono successfully facilitated a Surveillance (Risk-Based Oversight) Course for personnel from the South African Civil Aviation Authority.

The training was held at the ACSA Aviation Academy under the Airports Company South Africa, from 23rd to 27th March 2026.

The course focused on strengthening competencies in risk-based oversight, enabling aviation professionals to enhance safety surveillance, improve regulatory effectiveness, and adopt proactive approaches to managing aviation risks.

This engagement underscores EASA’s growing reputation as a center of excellence in aviation training, committed to advancing global aviation safety and regulatory best practices.
