The Registrar, Finance & Administration at the East African School of Aviation, CPA Jela Eliud Dabuke, flanked by the Deputy Director, Aviation Training, Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the Radar Mono Pulse / Mode-S Course at EASA.

The programme brought together participants from Zambia, Togo, Niger, and Kenya, demonstrating an elaborate regional and international collaboration in advanced air traffic surveillance technologies.

The training focuses on strengthening competencies in Mono Pulse and Mode-S radar systems, including principles of operation, target detection, data processing, and maintenance, to enhance surveillance accuracy, reduce controller workload, and improve overall aviation safety.

EASA continues to advance regional and international aviation capacity through specialized, technology-driven training programmes that promote safety, operational efficiency, and technical excellence.
