The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, officially presided over the opening of the Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) Course at EASA.
The programme has brought together participants from Kenya, focusing on strengthening competencies in Performance-Based Navigation concepts and their application in modern air navigation systems.
The training aims to enhance participantsβ understanding of PBN implementation, navigation specifications, airspace design considerations, and operational requirements that support safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable air navigation services.
EASA continues to advance national, regional, and international aviation capacity through specialized, industry-focused training programmes that promote innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
