The Registrar, Academic Services at the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Oliver Sindabi, alongside the Deputy Director, Aviation Training Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the Safety Management Systems (SMS) Course at EASA.

The programme has brought together participants from Nigeria, focusing on strengthening competencies in the implementation and management of Safety Management Systems to enhance proactive risk management and aviation safety performance.

The training underscores the importance of a structured and systematic approach to identifying hazards, mitigating risks, and promoting an elaborate safety culture across aviation operations.

EASA continues to advance regional and international aviation capacity through specialized, industry-focused training programmes that promote safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
