The 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗞𝗖𝗔𝗔) 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗠. 𝗠. 𝗢𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗼, 𝗘𝗕𝗦, officially commissioned the 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗡𝗮𝘃 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 (𝗔𝗧𝗖) 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 at the East African School of Aviation (EASA), marking a significant milestone in the institution's commitment to delivering world-class aviation training.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by the 𝗔𝗴. 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗞𝗖𝗔𝗔, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗔, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗸𝗶, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗞𝗖𝗔𝗔, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘂, and members of the 𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗔 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲.

The state-of-the-art 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗡𝗮𝘃 𝗔𝗧𝗖 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 will enhance the training of Air Traffic Controllers by providing a realistic simulation environment that strengthens practical competencies in air traffic management, decision-making, communication, emergency handling, and operational efficiency in line with international aviation standards.

The commissioning of the simulator further cements EASA's position as a leading ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Platinum Training Centre, dedicated to providing innovative, competency-based aviation training for Kenya, the region, and beyond.
