The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, alongside the Deputy Director, Aviation Training Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the ADS-B Course at EASA.

The programme has brought together participants from Zambia and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, focusing on strengthening competencies in Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B) systems to enhance real-time aircraft tracking, surveillance accuracy and air navigation safety.

The training underscores the growing importance of advanced surveillance technologies in supporting efficient and seamless air traffic management.

EASA continues to advance regional aviation capacity through specialized, technology-driven training programmes that promote safety, innovation, and operational excellence.
