IATA certified EASA to conduct courses in the transport of dangerous goods by air covering initial or recurrent training for shippers, packers, cargo agents and airline staff. Category: 1 to 17
EASA is now listed as an accredited school in a central registry maintained by IATA and students who will pass the approved test will be recorded in IATA’S International Student Registry.
The course is intended for those who handle and process shipments of dangerous goods. It meets all the legal requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions and IATA’S Dangerous goods regulations (DRG).
The first DGR CAT 6 course was conducted on 18th to 22nd November 2019, and it attracted participants from Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya.
