The Acting Director of the East African School of Aviation, Mr. Eliud Jela, alongside Deputy Director, Aviation Training Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the PSR/AMSMR Course at EASA.

The programme has brought together participants from Zambia and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, focusing on strengthening technical competencies in Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR) and Advanced Surface Movement Surveillance Radar (AMSMR) systems.

The course aims to enhance surveillance reliability, air traffic situational awareness and overall aviation safety through robust radar system maintenance and operational excellence.

EASA remains committed to advancing regional aviation capacity through specialized, technology-driven training.
