The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, alongside the Deputy Director, Aviation Training Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the opening of the ICAO Annex 9 Course at EASA.
The programme has brought together participants from Zambia, Tanzania, and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, focusing on strengthening competencies in facilitation (FAL) processes in line with International Civil Aviation Organization Annex 9 standards.
The training aims to enhance efficiency in passenger and cargo clearance, streamline border control procedures and promote seamless air transport operations while maintaining high levels of security and compliance.
EASA continues to advance regional aviation capacity through specialized training programmes that support safe, efficient and harmonized aviation operations.
