The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, graced the closing ceremony of the ICAO Annex 9 Course at EASA.
The programme brought together participants from Zambia, Tanzania, and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, who successfully enhanced their competencies in facilitation (FAL) processes in line with International Civil Aviation Organization Annex 9 standards.
The training strengthened participantsβ ability to improve efficiency in passenger and cargo clearance, streamline border control procedures, and support seamless air transport operations while maintaining high levels of security and compliance.
EASA continues to advance regional aviation capacity through specialized training programmes that promote safe, efficient, and harmonized aviation operations.
