𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗔 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗔𝗩𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔

Subject Matter Experts from the East African School of Aviation, Millicent Henga and Robert Oyoo, flanked by Evans Omondi who represented EASA Management, successfully facilitated three specialized programmes: the 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗔𝗩𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲, 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 & 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲, and the 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗔𝗩𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲.

The training was delivered to personnel from the Special Airport Police Unit (SAPU), Rwanda Airport Company (RAC), and the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority, and was coordinated by the Rwanda Civil Aviation Training & Innovation Centre from 2nd to 31st March 2026.

The programmes focused on enhancing aviation security oversight, strengthening cargo and mail security protocols, and building instructional capacity in line with International Civil Aviation Organization standards.

This engagement underscores EASA’s continued commitment to advancing aviation security, regulatory compliance, and professional excellence across Africa and beyond.
