The Director of the East African School of Aviation, Dr. Serah Waitiki, flanked by the Deputy Director, Aviation Training, Mr. Julius Nzyoka, officially presided over the closing ceremony of the ICAO Airport Security Supervisors Course at EASA.
The programme successfully equipped participants from Kenya with enhanced supervisory competencies in airport security operations, including the implementation of ICAO Annex 17 Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), security oversight, risk assessment, quality control, and leadership in aviation security.
The successful completion of the course reinforces EASA's commitment to developing competent aviation security professionals who uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
